Experience
Dan
has been arranging and engraving music for 15 years. He has extensive
experience and expertise with Finale music publishing software, and is
known for his particularly quick turnaround. He has orchestrated
several complete projects from Integrity
Music including Travis
Cottrell: Unashamed Love, Jason
Breland: Believe, Lakewood
Church: Cover the Earth, Brian
Doerksen: Today, Michael
Neale: Made Me Glad, Robin Mark:
Revival In Belfast II , Twila
Paris: He Is Exalted, and most recently Gateway Church: Living For You.
In 2005 and 2006, Dan produced and contributed arrangements to PraiseCharts.com's first
original CDs of new worship arrangements: PraiseCarols and
PraiseHymns.
Dan has also done work for Lillenas
Music Publishing, including the complete orchestration/engraving
for the Master
Chorus Book II, contributing to production of the hymnal Sing
to the Lord, and arranging, producing, and engraving the
worship collection One Body, One
Spirit - Worship Songs for a New Generation. He has also
worked with Alfred Publishing, Hal Leonard Publishing, Mark Hayes and was one of the lead producer/arrangers for the soundtrack
and custom production company Christian World Recording. In 1999 he produced
the worship music for the Nazarene Youth Congress in Toronto, Canada,
including the well-received NYC '99 -
Live Worship from Toronto recording. For six years he
coached SNU's
Witness traveling ministry team, led chapel worship services at SNU, and
acted as technology consultant for the SNU School of Music. Recent
clients include Gateway Church's
Gateway Worship in Southlake, TX
where Dan has written orchestrations for their recent "Director" DVDs
featured by Integrity Music.

The Early Years
Dan
grew up in the Dallas, TX area an avid Cowboys fan! He did undergraduate
work as a trombone major at the University
of North Texas before eventually graduating summa cum laude from Southern Nazarene University in 1992
with a B.S. in piano performance. Dan has served in church music ministry
as a music minister, choir/orchestra director, vocal ensemble coach,
bandleader, pianist/keyboardist and trombonist. In 1992 he toured with Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass
as keyboardist. Since then he has been on staff as interim director
of music at College Church of
the Nazarene in Olathe, Kansas, pianist/music associate at Shadow Mountain Community
Church in San Diego, and as staff arranger for Metrochurch (now LifeChurch)
in Oklahoma City. He has also taught jazz band and vocal ensembles at the
university level.

The Latest
Dan
recently relocated his family to beautiful Traverse City, MI and is currently busy as a freelance producer, arranger,
and orchestrator. He and his family attend
New Hope Community Church where he serves as a band leader and
keyboardist.
He is partnered with the online music publishing company PraiseCharts, and he continues
to arrange and orchestrate all styles of music for clients throughout the
